Spot on farm

Meet Brittanie

I’m a passionate and well-traveled equestrian with years of hands-on experience—not only teaching over 300 students, but also training young horses, developing upper-level prospects, and managing renowned farms. My background spans disciplines from eventing and horsemanship to barrel racing, and I’ve proudly coached students who’ve gone on to win local and national championships.

2008–2010: I started my business at 16, teaching Pony Club lessons and training horses. I graduated high school early to pursue competitions full-time and competed with Wellington Show Stables, where I earned several junior national championships—including a Zone 4 Champion title with my self-trained mount, Rio’s Dakota Sunrise.

2010–2015: I became the head working student for Helen Varble at Wellington Show Stables, competing at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center nearly every weekend. My role evolved into Barn Manager, overseeing lesson programs, sale horses, and day-to-day operations.

2015–2020: I opened my own facility on an 80-acre farm and quickly built a thriving program with 50+ students, a competitive show team, and seasonal camps. In 2017, I purchased my own private farm and trained/sold over 50 horses.

2020–2023: I moved to Mill Spring, NC to pursue my eventing career near the Tryon International Equestrian Center. After an injury and a brief relocation to Atlanta, I returned to Mill Spring to restart my training program. Since then, I’ve been freelancing, training sale horses, and building my reputation until I create my dream equestrian barn.

2023–Current: I relocated to the southern Charlotte area near Waxhaw and started my dream. Spot on Farm was created where I am now cultivating and pouring my passion into the sport I love. I love watching the equestrian sport grow and I’m dedicated to aiding in that success by helping riders excel in the sport. I am now focusing back on lessons, training, sales, rehab, and much more!
